There will  be no caste-based reservation in  the admissions for academic courses offered through Twinning Programme that provides for collaboration between top 500 foreign universities with State-run Indian varsities. The HRD Ministry has forwarded to the Law Ministry a draft UGC regulation recommending a no reservation policy will be applicable under the Twinning Programme.
