Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has convened a meeting of eight secretaries from the economic ministries and the chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh on the financial demand of UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. The meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, would be attended by top PMO officials and senior officials of the ministries of finance, agriculture and rural development.
