Raghuram Rajan, Chibber in race to succeed Basu

Raghuram Rajan, a former chief economist of the International Monetary Fund, and Ajay Chibber, assistant secretary-general of the United Nations Development Programme, have been shortlisted for the position of chief economic advisor to the government.
