NREGA not in good shape, admits PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday admitted that MNREGA, the flagship programme of the UPA Government, was “not in good shape” and that though the scheme’s numbers are a “story worth telling” yet statistics “do not tell the whole truth”. He said he was not fully satisfied with the way the scheme is working.
