Ratan Tata on Thursday urged Manmohan Singh to “do the right thing” to put India back on the growth path, even as he criticised the repeated attacks on the Prime Minister as “grossly misdirected”. The chairman of the Tata Group described Singh as “the architect of the ’91 reforms which brought international recognition to our country” and “a warm-hearted Prime Minister (who) has led our country with great personal dignity and integrity”.
