Most of the workers involved in the arson at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant on Wednesday are from Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's turf in Rohtak. Local police sources said this could be the reason why they felt they could get away with unprecedented violence. According to the police, the workers, who have all gone underground, considered themselves above the law.
