The Archaeological Survey of India on Tuesday made it official that it would not examine the remains of the said Akbarabadi mosque unless the illegal structure on the excavated site is demolished. The ASI shot a letter to the North Delhi Municipal Commissioner on Tuesday urging it to restore the land at Subhash Park near Jama Masjid failing which the agency would not take possession of the land.
