Metro Rail bodies want freedom from Indian Rlys

Piqued by hurdles erected by the Railways in the path of speedy execution of Metro projects, heads of Metro Rail corporations of all states have demanded that the Centre relieve the Railways of control over planning Metro systems in the country, and instead set up an independent regulator.
