CVC hands graft stick to Team Anna

The United Progressive Alliance government has been put in a spot by its own watchdog - the Central Vigilance Commission. At a time when Team Anna members are sitting on a fast alleging 15 ministers are corrupt, the commission has expressed its concern over 'rampant irregularities' in the functioning of public sector undertakings (PSUs). The observation, made during review meetings over the past one month, is likely to give a muchneeded fillip to Anna Hazare's anti-corruption agitation which began on Wednesday.
