Gujarat, HP polls in Nov

The coming round of assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh may be scheduled in November, unlike in 2007, when the polling had stretched until December 19. The Election Commission is favourably inclined to demands of all political parties in Himachal Pradesh for a single-day polling in the first half of November, according to a Nirvachan Sadan source.
