New Indian Mujahideen module may have struck in Pune

The agencies probing Wednesday's low-intensity explosions on Jangli Maharaj road here said they believe five to six people were involved in carrying out the blasts. While admitting that they are yet to establish their links to the Indian Mujahideen, which was behind the German Bakery blasts and several other terror attacks across the country, they said they suspect a new module might have planned the explosions. A crime branch source said their suspicion stems from the nature of the material used in the bombs and the modus operandi of the group.
