The general joins a soldier's 'party' to take on corruption
Former army chief General (retd) V. K. Singh on Friday threw his weight behind former army truck-driver-turned-anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare in his decision to give India a political alternative - and then took on the UPA government like never before. In a frontal assault on the government, Singh said the country was directionless and the government was no longer acting in tune with the vision of the Constitution.
