Opposition parties have sought discussions on the state of the economy, drought and floods, violence in Assam, Centre-state relations, FDI in retail, death of Amarnath pilgrims, power grid failure, shooting at a US gurdwara and violence at Maruti plant during the monsoon session of Parliament, which begins on Wednesday.
