BJP leader LK Advani’s scathing attack on an “illegitimate” UPA Government triggered a row in the Lok Sabha. It swung Congress chief Sonia Gandhi into taking the reins in her hands. She signalled party men to protest vociferously. Sonia was seen strongly objecting to the remark, apparently seeking its withdrawal, and her proactiveness energised party MPs, as also those from DMK and Trinamool Congress, to counter the BJP.
