The Congress may be in opposition in Karnataka, but it has left ruling BJP far behind in collecting donation. Between 2007 and 2011, the Congress raised a whopping Rs 1,492.35 crore in the State followed by the BJP (Rs 769.81 crore) and Janata Dal (S) which collected Rs 4.63 crore.
