Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of displaying dual standards regarding his reactions to incidents of violence in Assam and Mumbai. Addressing the State-level Independence Day function at the Police Parade Grounds in Junagadh, Modi demanded to know why the Prime Minister remained silent about the violence in Mumbai while he had expressed regrets for violence in Assam.
