Congress rejects midterm plan, hopes for best in 2014

Deflated by the growing perception that UPA 2 has proved to be the most corrupt government since 1947, the Congress has abandoned a plan proposed by Jairam Ramesh to go for midterm polls along with the Gujarat Assembly elections in order to capitalise on the BJP's perceived weaknesses.
