Incumbent Telcos may skip 2G auction

Brokerage firms, analysts and industry experts have warned that the upcoming 2G airwaves auction may fail to yield the desired results, with some even stating that auctions may be a failure, as incumbent and new mobile phone companies are unlikely to bid for spectrum in the top seven circles that make up 80% of the Rs 14,000-crore base price.
