While the parties supporting the UPA government from outside have not joined ranks with the BJP, they seem to be maintaining distance from the ruling combine in the wake of the CAG report on coal block allocation. This came to the fore on Wednesday with senior SP and RJD leaders crticising the Congress’s decision to target the CAG.
