Govt admits it misled House

The Government had misinformed Parliament saying it had accepted the Ashok Chawla Committee report on pricing and allocation of natural resources. In the Presidential Reference in Supreme Court on the 2G scam with regard to disposal of natural resources, the Centre was caught on the wrong foot when it was confronted by documentary evidence that it had accepted 69 recommendations of the report.
