The BJP on Thursday strongly defended its boycott of the JPC meeting and said it would wait for the response of committee chairman PC Chacko on their demand before deciding the next course of action. BJP members in the JPC on spectrum scandal had walked out of a meeting on Wednesday as their Congress counterparts refused to give in to their demands for calling Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram before the panel.
