Auction 2G by Jan 11 or face music: SC

Refusing to accept the Centre’s request for an unspecified timeframe to complete auction of 2G spectrum licences, the Supreme Court on Monday directed the Government to finish the process by January 11 next year. Else, it threatened to initiate contempt proceedings and also levy an exemplary cost.
