Prime Minister Manmohan Singh came under attack from the BJP on Friday for being “economical with truth” in blaming Opposition-ruled States for blocking the policy of auction of coal blocks. The BJP released two sets of documents — first a 2005 letter from Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh and, second, a 2007 statement by Coal Ministry in the Lok Sabha.
