Sealing escape routes for those accused in the multi-crore granite quarrying scam, the police in Tamil Nadu have issued lookout circular against 12 persons, including the son of Union minister M K Alagiri. The district police in Madurai, the centre of the alleged Rs 16,000 crore illegal granite quarrying scam, issued the LOC to ensure that the accused in the scam, all of them rich and influential, do not escape the country. Alert has been sounded at airports and ports to ensure this.
