With the government conceding to BSP's demand to bring a constitutional amendment to provide reservation in promotions for SCs/STs, the BJP has been caught on the wrong foot. The BJP, which is trying to ride on its anti-corruption plank against the Congress to improve its electoral fortunes in politically crucial UP, was on Tuesday found hard pressed to reveal its strategy on the government's plan to bring the Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
