Assault on Constitution

The Governor of Karnataka, Mr Hans Raj Bhardwaj, has once again sought to create political instability in the State. He has sent yet another report to the President, recommending that the Union Government should sack the State Government headed by Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and place the Assembly under suspended animation. In other words, he wants the BJP to be removed from power and, after manufacturing a majority for the party to which he is admirably loyal, install a Congress regime.
