Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy has urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to order CBI probe in “perjury, forgery and fraud” committed by Finance Minister P Chidambaram. Reacting to The Pioneer reports on  discrepancies in various affidavits filed by Chidambaram on his wife Nalini’s assets, Swamy said that the “irregularities” committed by Chidambaram attracted  prosecutable provisions under IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act.
