Jayaswals had asked Jaiswal to arbitrate on family feud

Union coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal was nominated final arbitrator in 2008 in the dispute between the Jayaswal brothers of Nagpur who figure in three CBI FIRs into the massive irregularities in allocation of coal blocks, according to an internal communication of the family.
