TMC-Cong swap quit notices

A combative Trinamool Congress on Friday withdrew support to the UPA, prompting a desperate Samajwadi Party to announce its continued support to the beleaguered ruling coalition “to keep communal forces at bay”. Six Trinamool Ministers resigned from the Manmohan Singh Government and demanded that it seek “at the earliest” a division of vote on its decision to allow FDI in multi-brand retail.
