J&K terrorists target panchayat chiefs

Kashmir Valley is in fresh turmoil after militants killed a deputy sarpanch on Sunday and unleashed a reign of terror by threatening the  others with the same fate if they did not resign en masse. As many as eight village representatives have been killed by suspected militants ever since the panchayat elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir last year after a gap of nearly three decades.
