The politics of UPA reboot

The way Sonia Gandhi resolutely rallied the entire Congress Working Committee (CWC) on Tuesday to provide wholesome political backing to the Prime Minister and his core team in pushing ahead with economic reform might have made Dr Manmohan Singh nostalgic about the similar rock-like backing his political guru P V Narasimha Rao had provided him way back in 1991. But then, that is not the only similarity between 1991 and 2012.
