DMK Monday meet focus on MK Alagiri’s son on run

An emergency high-level executive committee meeting of the DMK has been convened for Monday by party general secretary K Anbazhagan. In a statement released on Wednesday night, Anbazhagan (90), asked all members of the executive committee to attend the meeting. Though the general secretary has not set any agenda, the meeting  has been convened in the backdrop of the police lookout notice for Durai Dayanidhi, son of Union Minister MK Alagiri and grandson of party chief Muthuvel Karunanidhi.
