Cong defensive, BJP ups ante

While the Congress avoided answering specific charges levelled by activist Arvind Kejriwal against Robert Vadra’s business activities, fresh revelations prompted the BJP to seek a ‘comprehensive enquiry’ into “dubious” real estate transactions by the son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. Asking Congress not to run away from its responsibility to answer uncomfortable questions, the BJP dared the ruling party to order a probe “if there was nothing to worry”.
