Inaction on part of the civic authorities in razing the illegal construction at the site of purported Akbarabadi Mosque prompted the Delhi High Court to order immediate demolition of the structure. Irked over non-compliance of its previous order, a three-judge bench said ‘enough time’ had expired but the mandate could not be carried out.
