MUMBAI: After much hemming and hawing, the Maharashtra BJP has come to Nitin Gadkari's rescue following charges of corruption against him. BJP activists turned up in good numbers at the domestic airport in Vile Parle on Wednesday to welcome the party chief. Buoyed by the show of strength, Gadkari launched a frontal attack on the Congress party. The state BJP has rallied behind Gadkari following instructions from the RSS, it is reliably learnt.
