RSS steers clear, says its BJP's call on Gadkari

Despite his absence, BJP president Nitin Gadkari lurked on the sidelines of the RSS national executive council meeting that got underway here on Friday. Even as it tried to steer clear of land grabbing allegations against Gadkari, who got a second term at the helm of the party recently, the organisation said he should not be singled out as there are others facing similar charges and felt it was for the BJP to decide if he should step down.
