Kerala temple bodies: All Hindu MLAs can vote to elect members

Kerala’s Congress-led ruling UDF on Monday decided to ask the Government drop the clause which made declaration of belief in the religion by Hindu MLAs mandatory to vote for electing members to temple bodies from the Devaswom Ordinance proposed to be promulgated soon. All Hindu MLAs would now have the right to vote to elect Devaswom Board members.
