India relieved, but clouds loom over outsourcing

Prime minister Manmohan Singh could not in all honesty tell Obama in his congratulatory message that Indians "love" him. But India, like much of the world, breathed a sigh of relief at Obama's re-election. Because in the past four years, India has learnt to deal with the clinical and calculating the United States president. In these years, the depth and breadth of the US-India ties have jumped in ways we couldn't have imagined earlier.
