The Government move to clip the wings of CAG drew sharp reactions from BJP leader Yashwant Sinha, former CVC N Vittal, Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy and Team Anna member Kiran Bedi criticising the proposal. Only former Chief Election Commissioner SY Quraishi backed it.
