The DMK has put the UPA Government in a quandary by remaining non-committal on supporting it in Parliament on the issue of FDI in multi-brand retail. “We will call the DMK parliamentary party meeting and we will decide. Let it remain (in a state of) suspense. We will decide what to do when the FDI resolution is introduced. We will take a decision in such a way that traders of Tamil Nadu are not affected,” DMK chief M Karunanidhi told the media in Chennai on Wednesday.
