Govt banks on Chairs to veto FDI vote push!
The Government seems to be banking on the presiding officers of both Houses of Parliament to avoid a vote on the FDI issue, even though it asserted on Friday it was ready to face any situation, including a No-Confidence Motion. This came on a day Left parties decided to bury the ideological divide and appealed to all parties, including the BJP, to support its motion against FDI in multi-brand retail.
