Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray passed away on Saturday. Thackeray, 86, had been in a serious condition for a number of days and was being treated round the clock by a team of doctors from Bandra’s Lilavati hospital. Thackeray died at 3.33 pm on Saturday due to a cardiac arrest but the death was not announced till 4.44pm by Dr Jalil Parkar.
