Govt court martialled over 2G lapse

The government faced the Supreme Court's fury on the 2G muddle on Monday and was repeatedly ticked off for its handling of the recent spectrum auction. The court frowned upon the "very casual" manner in which the 2G case was handled. It came down heavily on the government saying withholding of spectrum, licences for which were cancelled, was unacceptable.
