Auditor fires blanks

An ‘old story’ of differences in CAG’s 2G loss figure and accusing PAC chief MM Joshi of influencing the audit resurfaced on Friday to stir a hornets’ nest. The subsequent tirade against the BJP by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and her lieutenants soon fell flat when a combative Joshi rubbished the charges point-wise and vowed to quit as PAC chief if the allegations were found true.
