The Central Bureau of Investigation’s reluctance to probe fresh evidence against former President Pratibha Patil’s brother in a murder trial stood exposed in the Supreme Court on Friday. Coming to the aid of the victim’s widow, the Court questioned the agency for opposing her plea to bring in additional evidence against Patil’s brother before a Jalgaon trial court.
