BSP gets its way, DMK sulks

The UPA extended an olive branch to Bahujan Samaj Party by listing for Monday the constitutional amendment bill relating to promotion of SC/ST in Government jobs for consideration and passage in Rajya Sabha. The move came within hours of ally DMK ‘disappointing’ the Congress by expressing serious reservations on backing the FDI in multi- brand retail decision of the UPA Government.
