Political hounding of CAG hits morale of probe agencies

The political class has achieved the desired result through incessant hounding of a constitutional body, the comptroller and auditor general, for projecting a notional loss of Rs 1.76 lakh crore in the irregular allotment of 2G spectrum licences in January 2008 during A Raja's tenure as telecom minister.
