ICJ calls for iron hand in dealing with terrorists
It makes eminent sense that the International Council of Jurists has adopted a resolution which calls for curbing terrorism rather than human rights violations as the judiciary’s topmost priority. The resolution passed at the conclusion of a two-day conference of the ICJ in Delhi recently, should be an eye-opener for all those bleeding-heart activists who see great merit in going overboard in extending human rights benefits to hardened terrorists, be it the Jihadi types or the Maoists.
