Maya’s U-turn on FDI in 24 hrs

Bahujan Samaj Party’s opposition to FDI in retail has taken less than 24 hours to convert into full-fledged support for the Congress. In the midst of allegation on misuse of CBI by the Government to force her hand, BSP chief Mayawati on Thursday announced her support to the Centre during voting in the Rajya Sabha on Friday. Her decision means the Government, with the support of allies, will now be able to cross the halfway mark in the House of 244.
