13 legislators openly back BS Yeddyurappa

The BJP government in Karnataka was on the edge of a precipice on Sunday after former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa got 13 MLAs to come out in the open to back his Karnataka Janata Party. The development has pushed the state government into a minority, with BJP enjoying the support of only 106 MLAs in the 224-member assembly.
